CSV promotes Telehealth

The currently governing political party in Luxembourg, the Chrestlesch Sozial Vollekspartei (CSV)  pledges to enhance the care services delivery in primary care settings by promoting telehealth type applications. It therefore plans to extend the use of enabling technologies in the care at home, in order to - more specifically - facilitate the transmission of personal health data to doctors or health professionals for daily assessment and follow-up. The original pledge in favour of telehealth and telemonitoring applications can be viewed in the 2009 election programme of the CSV (pages 57 and 58) [.pdf].
